AA77 was according to the DCC radar data that released under the Freedom of Information Act in 2009, showed that AA77 continued forwards and didn't turn around and head back to Washington. The radar track showed flew over St Louis Airport and into Kansas, and then made a turn and headed back towards Missouri St Louis Airport where it disappeared off radar around 10:30am.
